Problem Description

 From this project, we try to find out that is our solar structure is suitable to be installed in a region of high wind speed like a cyclonic region and how can strengthen our structure so that it can also sustain such harsh conditions.

3D Design of Solar tree

Solar Tree is designed using Catia and Solidwork. Dimensions of branches 04,05 and 03 of the tree are 4775mm,3689mm, and 2535mm respectively. Branch 06 and 05 are of the same length. The angle between Pole and branch 06 is 135-degree, pole and branch 05 is 135 degrees.

Calculation

25 solar panels are used with 300 watts each. The dimensions of each panel are 2m X 1m. They as installed on two different purlins, outer purlin contains 16 panels and the inner on 9. The mounting angle of PVSPs support is 𝛼 = 32
